Drop-off
The driver enters the resort by the main gate on the Bulevar Príncipe Alfonso von Hohenlohe and stops at the reception porch, where the bell staff take your luggage.
A resort laid out like an Andalusian village
Puente Romano is not a single building with a lobby. It is a cluster of low white houses spread through gardens between the Bulevar and the beach, with La Plaza at its heart, the old Roman bridge over the stream and the tennis club at the western end. Guests move around on foot or in the resort buggies, so arriving by car means one stop at the reception porch and then a short ride to your room, suite or villa. Tell us if you have booked a villa or a specific wing and we pass it on to the driver, who mentions it to the bell staff on arrival.
Coming down from the motorway to the Bulevar
From Málaga the AP-7 brings you past the Marbella exits to the Golden Mile in about 47 minutes. Your driver leaves the motorway at the Marbella west junction and drops down to the Bulevar Príncipe Alfonso von Hohenlohe, the old coast road, where the resort entrance is on the sea side. In July and August the Bulevar slows down in the early evening as the beach clubs empty, so allow a few extra minutes then; at night the road is quiet and the entrance well lit.

How much is a taxi from Málaga Airport to Puente Romano Beach Resort?
A private sedan for up to 4 passengers costs €79 one way; the estate €95 and the minivan for up to 8 passengers €119. Prices include luggage and VAT. Tolls are not included: we take the toll-free A-7 and, if you prefer the AP-7 motorway, the toll is paid separately.
How long is the drive from Málaga Airport to Puente Romano Beach Resort?
About 47 minutes for 60 km, using the AP-7 motorway where available. Summer weekends can add 10 to 20 minutes.
Which vehicle do you recommend for a Golden Mile hotel arrival?
Any of the three is a Mercedes-class vehicle. For a couple the sedan is ideal; families with several suitcases usually prefer the estate, and groups of five or more travel in the minivan.
Does the driver take us to the main reception or to our villa?
The standard stop is the reception porch at the main entrance, where the resort staff take over and drive you to your room in a buggy. If you are staying in one of the villas and the resort has given you a direct access, write it in the booking notes and the driver will go there instead.
How long from Málaga Airport to Puente Romano on a summer evening?
Count on around 47 minutes at most hours and up to an hour on a Friday or Saturday evening in August, when the last stretch along the Bulevar is busy. Your driver follows the flight and leaves the airport with that in mind, so there is nothing to change on your side.
Where does the driver meet me at Málaga Airport?
In the arrivals hall of Terminal 3, holding a sign with your name. All flights, including Terminal 2 arrivals, exit through the same hall.
