About

Our own cars, our own drivers, and the Marbella road every day

Airport Transfers Marbella is run from Málaga by the people who do the driving. When you book, the confirmation comes from our office, the price is set by us and the person who meets you at Málaga Airport works for us, in one of our own vehicles. There is no call centre in another country and no auction of your booking to whichever driver bids lowest.

This page explains what that means in practice: who picks up the phone when your flight is late, who chooses the car, how a normal day looks for us and what we commit to on every journey between the airport and the coast.

Not an intermediary, and why that matters to you

Most transfer websites are marketplaces. They take your booking, sell it on to a local operator, and often that operator passes it to a freelance driver the night before. When something goes wrong, three parties point at each other. We work the other way round. The booking arrives in our own office, we assign one of our own drivers and one of our own cars, and the person who confirms your booking is the one who organises that pickup. If your plane is diverted or lands two hours late, the person you email or call is the same person who moved the pickup, not a ticket system.

Who answers when your flight is late

Say you fly from Manchester on a winter evening and the flight is delayed at departure. We see it before you do, because we follow the flight number, and the driver who was going to leave Marbella at nine simply leaves later. Nobody calls you for a surcharge and nobody cancels the pickup to take another job. If the delay turns into a cancellation and you arrive the next morning, you write to us and we move the booking; the price does not change because it was fixed the day you booked. That is only possible because the office and the drivers are the same team.

A normal working day for us

A typical day starts before dawn with the first departures: a family from Elviria with a seven o'clock flight, a golfer from Guadalmina heading home. By mid-morning the drivers are back in the arrivals hall of Terminal 3 with name boards, then out along the AP-7 to the Golden Mile, up the hill to Sierra Blanca or through the tunnel to San Pedro. Afternoons are hotel gates and gated estates, where the guard already has the plate number because we sent it the day before. The last flights land after midnight and someone from us is there for them too.

Airport Transfers Marbella fleet

Our area, from the airport to Cádiz

We are based in Málaga, at the airport end of the coast road, and Marbella and its districts are our daily bread: the centre, Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía, the Golden Mile, San Pedro, Elviria, Las Chapas, Los Monteros, Cabopino, Guadalmina and Benahavís. From there the same drivers continue west along the coast to Estepona, Casares, Manilva and Sotogrande, and on to La Línea and the Gibraltar border, Algeciras, Tarifa and the beaches of the Costa de la Luz as far as Cádiz and Jerez. Pickups at Málaga María Zambrano station and the cruise port cost the same as the airport.

What we commit to on every journey

Four things, and we mean each of them. A fixed price per vehicle, agreed before you travel, with tolls, luggage, waiting and VAT inside it. Punctuality: the driver is in arrivals before the plane is on the ground, and for the return we agree a pickup time that leaves a sensible margin at the terminal. Clean, recent Mercedes-class vehicles, checked every morning before the first service. And free child seats, in the size your children need, fitted before we leave for the airport rather than thrown in the boot.

Who we drive

Families arriving for a fortnight in Elviria or an all-inclusive week near Estepona. Golfers with two sets of clubs bound for Nueva Andalucía, Sotogrande or Finca Cortesín. Companies sending staff to a conference at Don Pepe or a client to a villa in La Zagaleta, who need one invoice and one contact. Residents of Marbella who would rather be collected at their gate than leave a car at the airport for a month. And hotel guests on the Golden Mile who expect the car to be waiting, the driver to know the hotel and nobody to ask for money at the porch.

Questions people ask about us

Are you a booking platform or the actual transfer company?

The actual company. We are based in Málaga, we own the vehicles and we employ the drivers. When you book on this site the reservation goes to our office and we assign one of our own drivers; nothing is passed to a third party.

Who do I contact if something changes on the day?

Us, directly. The confirmation email contains our contact details and your driver's, and both lead to the same team. Whether you email or call, the person who answers can see your booking and change it on the spot.

Do your drivers speak English?

Yes. All our drivers speak English and Spanish, since most of our passengers come from the United Kingdom, Ireland and northern Europe. If your group needs another language, tell us and we do our best to assign a driver who speaks it.

Can I book for someone else, such as a parent or a client?

Yes. Fill in the form with the passenger's name and flight, and your own email for the confirmation. The driver will hold the passenger's name in arrivals and the passenger pays the driver on arrival. For company bookings, write to us and we explain how invoicing works.
