Bungalows in a garden, from the road to the sea
The Marbella Club spreads across the sea side of the Bulevar as a series of white bungalows, patios and gardens that lead down to the beach club. There is no tall block to look for: the entrance is a gateway on the Bulevar with the reception canopy just inside, and your room may be a short walk through the gardens or a buggy ride away. It is a calm arrival even in high season, because the hotel keeps cars out of the garden lanes and the porters meet you at the canopy.
Timing the transfer from the airport
Allow about 47 minutes from Terminal 3 on the AP-7. The driver comes off at the Marbella west junction, follows the avenue down to the coast and turns onto the Bulevar towards Puerto Banús; the hotel gateway is on the sea side, before you reach Puente Romano. Weekday mornings and late nights are the fastest; the Bulevar gets slow around eight in the evening in summer. If you land early the driver is already there, since we track the flight.

Which vehicle do you recommend for a Golden Mile hotel arrival?
Any of the three is a Mercedes-class vehicle. For a couple the sedan is ideal; families with several suitcases usually prefer the estate, and groups of five or more travel in the minivan.
Is the golf course at the Marbella Club Hotel?
No. The Marbella Club Golf Resort sits in the hills of Benahavís, a separate drive of around twenty minutes from the hotel. If you plan to go straight from the airport to the course with your clubs, tell us and we quote that address instead; the estate car carries the bags without folding seats.
We travel with an elderly relative. How far is it from the car to reception?
Only a few metres. The driver stops under the canopy at the main entrance, the porters take the luggage from the boot and the reception desk is right there. If a buggy is needed to reach the room, the hotel staff arrange it; your driver waits until you are in their hands.
Where does the driver meet me at Málaga Airport?
In the arrivals hall of Terminal 3, holding a sign with your name. All flights, including Terminal 2 arrivals, exit through the same hall.
