Where the promenade ends and the Old Town begins
Amàre sits at the western tip of Marbella's Paseo Marítimo, on the beach side of Avenida Severo Ochoa. Walk east along the promenade and you reach the marina and Avenida del Mar in a few minutes; cross the road and the Alameda park and the first lanes of the Old Town are right there. It is an adults-only hotel with a rooftop terrace, so it attracts couples who want the beach and the town within walking distance rather than a resort with gardens. The car stops at the hotel door on Severo Ochoa, with no barriers or driveways.
The last kilometre from the motorway
The transfer takes about 45 minutes. Your driver leaves the AP-7 at the Marbella exit and comes down Avenida Ricardo Soriano or the coast road, depending on the hour, to reach the western side of the centre. In summer the streets around the Alameda are busy in the late afternoon, so the driver tends to approach along the seafront avenue instead. At night the run is quick and the hotel entrance is easy to spot from the road.

How much is a taxi from Málaga Airport to Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella?
A private sedan for up to 4 passengers costs €75 one way; the estate €90 and the minivan for up to 8 passengers €113. Prices include luggage and VAT. Tolls are not included: we take the toll-free A-7 and, if you prefer the AP-7 motorway, the toll is paid separately.
How long is the drive from Málaga Airport to Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella?
About 45 minutes for 57 km, using the AP-7 motorway where available. Summer weekends can add 10 to 20 minutes.
Can you drop us off inside Marbella Old Town?
The Old Town is pedestrian, so we stop at the nearest vehicle access to your address and walk you through the last metres if needed. Tell us your hotel name when booking and the driver will plan the best stop.
Can we walk to the Old Town from Amàre?
Yes. Cross Avenida Severo Ochoa, go through the Alameda park and you are in the Old Town in about ten minutes on foot. Most guests leave the car behind for the whole stay and only need us for the airport runs at the start and end of the trip.
We are a couple with hand luggage only. Which vehicle should we pick?
The sedan. It takes up to four passengers and three suitcases, so a couple with two cabin bags travels with room to spare. The estate and the minivan make sense only if you bring more luggage or travel as a larger group.
Where does the driver meet me at Málaga Airport?
In the arrivals hall of Terminal 3, holding a sign with your name. All flights, including Terminal 2 arrivals, exit through the same hall.
