A hillside estate between the coast and the village
Finca Cortesín sits on the slope above Casares Costa, on the road that climbs from the coast towards the white village of Casares. The hotel is built around courtyards and gardens with the golf course wrapped around it, and its beach club is down on the shore at Casares Costa, a few minutes by car or by the hotel's own shuttle. Estepona is about fifteen minutes east; Sotogrande and Puerto de la Duquesa twenty minutes west. It feels remote, yet it is only seventy minutes from Málaga Airport.
The drive: AP-7 to the end, then inland
Your driver keeps to the AP-7 past Estepona to the last toll section and leaves at the Manilva or Casares exit, then takes the Casares road uphill for the final stretch. That last part is a two-lane country road with no street lighting, so at night you see the lights of the resort well before the entrance. Golf bags are the norm here: two players with clubs and cases travel in the estate, larger groups in the minivan. Tell us if you are heading straight to the club house rather than reception.

The hotel is on the hillside, not on the sand, and its beach club is down at Casares Costa, a few minutes away. If you want to be dropped at the beach club rather than the hotel on arrival, say so in the booking notes and the driver will go there.
How much notice do you need for a transfer to Finca Cortesín?
The route is priced as Casares and is available every day; booking the day before is enough in most cases, and we confirm by email. On peak golf weeks and during tournaments it helps to book earlier so we can guarantee the estate or minivan you prefer.
